場所を表す前置詞

場所を表す前置詞、には、at,in,on,by,over,under　等がある。

場所を表す前置詞at,inの説明

(1) 地点の　at　⇒　狭い場所を表す

時の　at　は一瞬の間、場所の　at　は一地点
at　は点を表すと覚えましょう。

　She stayed at her home.
（彼女は家にいた。）

(2)in　は比較的広い場所

　I was born at the small hospital in Tokyo.
（私は、東京の小さな病院で生まれた。）

　she spent her childhood at Paris in France.
（彼女は、幼少時代フランスのパリで過ごした。）

　She spent her childhood at London in English.
（彼女は、幼少時代イギリスのロンドンで過ごした。）

Londonという「都市」とEnglishという「国」ですが、
Londonはイギリスの国の中にある一部の都市なので　London ＜ English　となります、

London には点である前置詞　at が付き
　at London
となり

Englishは前置詞　in が付き
　in English
となります。

【英文まとめ】

（１）She stayed at her home.
（２) I was born at the small hospital in Tokyo.
（３）She spent her childhood at Paris in France.
（４）She spent her childhood at London in English.

（１）彼女は家にいた。

(1) onは表面への接触

She put her luggage on the desk.

(2) byはそばにある

I parked my car by the tree.
（私は、車を木のそばに駐車した。）

(3) over　は上にかぶさる

There is a bridge over the river.
（川の上には、橋が架かっている。）

(4)underは下にある
